Cervical Cancer Screening (NQF 0032)
This report measures the percentage of women 21 to 64 years of age who received 1 or more pap tests to screen for cervical cancer.
Patient Population: The initial patient population for this measure includes all patients who are at least 23 years of age but not older than 63 at the start of the measurement period (in order to anticipate screenings every 3 years after the patient reaches the age of 21).
Exclusions: None.
The system uses the following steps to calculate the percentage:
Divide the value in step 2 above by the value in step 1 above. The result is then multiplied by 100 to achieve the percentage.
