This section describes document uploading, which allows you to upload one or more documents or files for patients. These documents are used to provide a more comprehensive view of a patient’s health record.
Some examples of common uploaded documents include:
• Transcribed documents, including a provider’s encounter notes
• Lab, diagnostic, or radiology reports which do not arrive electronically
• Medical records from another provider
• Referral letters and information
• Consent documents, legal documents, or any other documents you want to have available electronically
• Patient photos (for identification purposes)
• Scanned images, diagnostic images, or radiology images
• Continuity of Care Documents (CCDA, CCD/C32, and CCR)
• Antepartum reports
