1 In the information bar, click Help.
2 In the Additional Resources area of the support center, click Install.
3 In the Java Runtime Environment area, do the following:
a To run a test and determine whether or not the supported JRE plug‑in is installed for your browser, click the Configure link.
b Review the test results, and then do one of the following:
• If the test completes successfully (you can see the graph in the test window), no further action is required. Close the test window.
• If the test does not complete successfully, a dialog box may appear prompting you to install the supported JRE plug-in. If the dialog box does not appear, you can also install the latest plugin by clicking the link on the test page.
Note: If you have a previous version of JRE (earlier than 1.4.1), you must uninstall the older version. To uninstall JRE, click Start > Settings > Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs, locate the older version of JRE, and then click Remove. |
4 In the Adobe Reader area, do the following:
a To run a test and determine whether or not the supported Adobe Reader plug‑in is installed for your browser, click Configure.
b Review the test results, and then do one of the following:
• If the test completes successfully (you can see Adobe Reader in the test window), no further action is required. Close the test window.
• If the test does not complete successfully, click Get Adobe Reader to access the Adobe website, where you can download the latest Adobe Reader.
5 In the Adobe Flash Player area, do the following:
a To run a test and determine whether or not the supported Adobe Flash Player plug‑in is installed for your browser, click Configur.
b Review the test results, and then do one of the following:
• If the test completes successfully (you can see Adobe Flash in the test window), no further action is required. Close the test window.
• If the test does not complete successfully, click Get Adobe Flash Player to access the Adobe website, where you can download the latest Adobe Flash Player.
