Access the entire help system from a task-specific topic. While viewing a task-specific help topic, click the Display navigation pane link to view the entire help system including Contents, Index, and Glossary tabs, and additional content pane options such as text search, bread crumb trail, and navigation buttons.

View additional content. Within topic, click the link or . If the content expands on the page, click the link once more or click to collapse it. If the content appears in a pop-up window, click anywhere outside the pop-up window to close it.

View a graphic. If a thumbnail of a graphic appears within a topic, click it to see the entire graphic. To restore the thumbnail, click the graphic again. (If you have any trouble seeing the details in a graphic, maximize the help window before clicking the thumbnail.)

Note: The index search feature might not work properly with older browsers, such as Internet Explorer 8.

Search for text. In the box above the content pane, type a word or phrase, and then press Enter or click .

In the displayed list of search results, click the appropriate topic name. Each instance of the word or phrase in that topic is highlighted.

Notes:

If you type a phrase, the search results include all topics that include any of the words in that phrase. For example, if you type reported medication, the search results would include all topics that include the word reported as well as all those that include the word medication. To find only those topics that include the entire phrase, put the phrase in double quotation marks (“reported medication”).

If the text appears in a section that is collapsed, that section does not expand automatically. You must expand it manually to see the highlighted text.

Go to the next topic in the help system. In the navigation bar, click .

Note: If you are viewing the last topic, clicking this button performs no action.

Go to the previous topic in the help system. In the navigation bar, click .

Note: If you are viewing the first topic, clicking this button performs no action.

Follow the bread crumbs. Click any of the links at the top of the topic. This sequence shows where the displayed topic appears in the table of contents.

Notes:

For long topics, you might have to scroll up to see the bread crumbs.

The name of the currently displayed topic is not a clickable link.

Go to a topic that you were previously viewing. Press Alt+Left Arrow. (This works only if you have viewed more than one topic since accessing the help system.)

To go forward in your browsing sequence after going back, press Alt+Right Arrow.

Use the glossary. In the Glossary tab, scroll to the appropriate term and click it to display the definition. Click the term again to hide the definition. You can also type any word or phrase in the box at the top of the tab to display all matching glossary entries.

Note: The glossary search feature might not work properly with older browsers, such as Internet Explorer 8.

Print the topic. Above the content pane, click .
