Reporting Medications or Vaccinations

Occasionally, your patients may take medications or receive vaccinations that were not prescribed or administered through Care360 ePrescribing or EHR. The Reported Medication and Reported Vaccinations features of Care360 ePrescribing and EHR allow you to add a medication or vaccination that has been reported to you to the patient’s medication history. You can obtain the details about these medications or vaccinations directly from your patients.

When adding a reported medication or vaccination to the patient’s medication history, you can type or select various details such as the date the patient began taking the medication or when the vaccine was administered, the dosage amount and frequency, the duration, and whether the medication is active or inactive.

In some instances, a patient may inform you of a reported medication or vaccination that is already stored in Care360 ePrescribing or EHR. This medication or vaccination is selected from the search results list when entering the name of the reported medication or vaccination. All standard Care360 ePrescribing and EHR prescribing features (such as formulary status, coverage and copay information, preferred delivery method, the ability to add the medication to the patient’s favorites list, etc.) will show for the reported medication after it is refilled.

Notes:
