Address a Failed Fax

1 On the Message Center tab, click Prescriptions > Action Items.

Tip: You can also access the Action Items list by clicking the Action Items link from the Quick View page, or by clicking Prescriptions > Action Items from a patient’s summary.

2 To view activity for a specific provider within the organization, click a provider in the Provider Filter list.

3 Click an item in the Failed Faxes list, view the prescription, and then do one of the following:

Click Resend Fax to attempt to re-send a fax.

Click Cancel Fax to cancel the fax without any further attempts to transmit.

Note: If you cancel a fax, the prescription is never sent to the pharmacy. If you still want to submit this prescription, you need to create a new prescription. For more information, see Writing a New Prescription .
