Viewing All Radiology Results for a Patient

This section provides instructions for accessing any radiology results that have been received for a particular patient, regardless of when the result was received by Care360 EHR. All radiology results for a patient (even if they still appear on the New Clinical Documents list) are accessible from the patient’s summary.

You can view the most recent radiology results for a patient on the patient’s summary in the Radiology Results section, or you can click the View All link to access all radiology results for the patient.

While viewing the all Radiology results page, you can do the following:

Associate a diagnostic description to a result. A diagnostic description associates a procedure code, a result value, and relevant comments with the uploaded or electronic document. Diagnostic descriptions are used by Clinical Quality Measure reports for Meaningful Use.

Change the document type. Only documents categorized under Radiology appear as radiology results. Categorizing the document as something other then radiology moves it to the appropriate area. Additionally, if you have a diagnostic description, changing the document type to anything other than a radiology or diagnostics document type, removes the diagnostics description (and impacts Meaningful Use reporting).

Associate a radiology image with the appropriate result. Any image that has been uploaded or electronically received with a document type of Radiology Results Image can be associated with a radiology report. Radiology images can then be accessed while viewing the report.
