Printing Patient Data

When you need to print clinical data, you can use any of the following options:

Face Sheet. Use this option to print a summary of a patient’s clinical data. A face sheet contains demographics, billing information, patient contacts, active problems, active and inactive allergies/adverse reactions, active medications (including vaccinations), comments, and information about the 10 most recent tests, radiology results, and diagnostic results.

Antepartum Package. Only Providers, clinicians, and clinical office staff in a Care360 EHR organization can use this option to print an antepartum package for a specific date range. An antepartum package can contain any of the following information OB data (includingheader and the PregnancyandLabsflowsheet data in the patient’s most recent encounter note), active medications, active problems, active allergies, lab results, radiology results, diagnostics, clinical notes, other documents, and histories (family, social, surgical, past medical, pregnancy, menstrual).

Note: Antepartum packages are only available for patients who have been identified as pregnant in at least one encounter note.

Print Menu. Use this option when you want to print specific types of information for a patient. Your print options include the following types of information: lab reports (all or finalized), radiology reports (all or finalized), diagnostic reports (all or finalized), other documents, problems (all or active), medications (all, active, or claims history), vaccinations (all, administered, or reported), allergies/adverse reactions (all or active), and comments.

Print Clinical Attachments. Use this option when you need to specify a disclosure reason or if you want to only print specific documents and clinical information. When selecting a disclosure reason, consider the following:

When consulting with another provider regarding the patient’s care, click Referral.

When creating an office visit summary, click Provide Patient with Office Visit Summary.

When creating a clinical summary for a patient, click Provide Patient with Requested Clinical Summary.

When another provider is going to assume some or all of the responsibility for the patient’s care, click Transfer/Transition of Care Report.

The disclosure reasons described above contribute to Meaningful Use metrics.
