Print a Clinical Message

1 Click the Message Center tab.

2 Do one of the following:

In the Messages area of the Quick View page, click View All to see a list of all messages in your Inbox.

In the Messages menu, click Inbox.

3 In the list of messages on the messages Inbox page, click the message you want to view.

4 In the upper-right corner of the message content, click .

5 Click one of the following print options:

Note: The print options only appear for clinical messages that have attachments, and that are not Direct messages. If the message has no attachment or is a Direct message, and you click the print icon, the message opens in a new browser window as described below. All Direct message attachments need to be printed separately.

Print Message Only. Prints the current message being displayed in the Inbox.

Print Message + Selected Attachments. Prints the clinical message and any attachments you select. Select the check box next to each attachment you want to print, then click Print.

Note: Uploaded documents of the following file types .pdf, .xml, .jpg, .gif, .png, .bmp, .wmf, .png, and .txt. can be selected and printed. Uploaded documents that appear with the following message: “This file type must be printed separately,” must be printed from the application associated with the document. For example, a .docx file must be printed from Microsoft® Word®.

Print Message + All Attachments. Prints the clinical message with all attachments.

6 In the Adobe Reader toolbar, click .

7 In the Print dialog box, configure any additional print settings as needed, and then click Print.
