Generating Meaningful Use Metrics Reports

Healthcare providers who use Care360 EHR as part of their patient care can generate Meaningful Use metrics reports to demonstrate their use of Care360 EHR. The main components of Meaningful Use include using a certified EHR in a meaningful manner, such as electronic prescribing or ordering labs; exchanging health information to improve the quality of care; and submitting clinical quality and other measures. Note: To generate Meaningful Use reports, your organization must sign up for Meaningful Use Reporting Service (Stage 1) and/or Meaningful Use 2 (Stage 2). For more information on signing up for Meaningful Use Reporting Service (Stage 1) and/or Meaningful Use 2 (Stage 2), contact your support representative.

To assist Care360 EHR users in applying for incentive payments, two types of reports can be generated from the system:

• EHR Use Metrics Reports. EHR Use Metrics reports can be used to itemize specific clinical activities that are recorded in Care360 EHR while treating patients.

• Clinical Quality Measures Reports. Quality Measures reports can be used to measure healthcare performance by focusing on individual parts of clinical care, for example, specific preventative care activities or screenings. Each quality measure report gathers the pertinent performance information for the specified area from the database for a particular provider.

Reports may take up to 24 hours to complete. You can check the status of reports that you have requested, as well as export or print the report, from the Report History tab.

Note: Patients with an inactive or deceased status are excluded from all Meaningful Use reports.

Once your organization has begun Meaningful Use reporting, you can print and complete an Attestation Form. This document may be used as a worksheet to summarize your Meaningful Use information before you report it to the government.
