Customize the Patient Summary View

1 View the summary for a patient; for instructions, see Accessing a Patient Summary.

2 While viewing the patient’s summary, do one or more of the following to customize the view:

Close individual sections. You can close individual sections by clicking in the top-right corner of the section.

Move sections on the page. You can move a section to a new location (for example, to the other column or to the bottom of a column) on the patient summary by clicking in the title bar area and while continuing to hold down your mouse button, dragging the section to a new location.

Customize the patient summary using the Configure View feature. You can specify which sections you want to display on the patient summary by doing the following:

a Click at the top of the patient summary.

b In the Patient Summary Configure View dialog box, select the items that you want to display on the patient summary.

c Click Save.

Reset the patient summary to the default view. If you have made changes to your patient summary view by closing or moving sections, you can reset the patient summary to the default view by doing the following:

a Click at the top of the patient summary.

b In the Patient Summary Configure View dialog box, click Restore Defaults.
