1 Click the Message Center tab.

Tip: Review the Results Pending Release area of the Quick View page to see if you have any results pending release. If you do have results pending release, the Results Pending Release area also indicates whether the new lab results are normal or out of range. |
2 In the Labs menu, click Results Pending Release.
The results pending release page appears, displaying a list of the results that you have pending release.

Note: If you would like to specify filter settings, you can follow the directions described in step 3 in the instructions for View Results Pending Release. |
3 Select the lab result(s) you want to send to an e-Patient.

Notes: • You can view the individual lab results by either clicking on the requisition number or • While viewing the lab result, you can position the pointer over |
4 Click Send to e-Patient to send the selected lab result(s) to the e-Patient.

Notes: • Sending a result to a patient removes it from the Results Pending Release list. All results (whether new or previously viewed, manually removed, or sent to an e-Patient) are always available from the associated patient’s summary. • When sending an Interactive Insights lab report to a patient, the patient-focused view of the report is sent. • For more information on releasing individual lab results to an e-Patient, see Send Results to an e-Patient . |
5 Type any notes you want to send with the result(s) to the e-Patient.

Notes: • You can only add notes to a result if you are a member of a Care360EHRorganization. • The notes entered for the result(s) will appear on every result you selected to send to an e-Patient. |
6 Click Send to send the result(s).
