Using the Today's Patients List

1 On the Message Center tab, click Quick View.

2 Review the information that appears in the appointment list (Today’s Patients), and then do one or more of the following:

Filter by provider or by organization. To view a list of patients that are scheduled for a particular provider, click the provider list and select the appropriate provider name. To view appointments for all providers in your organization, click All Providers in the provider list.

View current or future appointments. To view a list of patients for the next available day (the next day that patients are scheduled), click to the right of Today’s Patients. To return to the current day’s appointments, click .

Access a patient’s summary. To view the summary of a patient in the appointment list, click the patient’s name. For more information on viewing and working with patient records, see The Patient Summary.

Check a patient in. To track a patient during his office visit with Patient Flow:

a Click Check In next to the patient's name.

b Select the Location.

c Select the Room.

d Click Select.

Notes:  

You can only check in a patient in organizations that have enabled Patient Flow. For additional information about Patient Flow, see Patient Flow.

The patient is moved into Patient Flow with a status of checked in. Additionally, if your practice management system provides Care360 EHR with provider information, the provider will be associated with the patient (in Patient Flow).

3 To print the appointment list as it currently appears, do the following:

a At the top of the appointment list, click .

b In the Adobe Reader toolbar, click .

c In the Print dialog box, configure any additional print settings as needed, and then click Print.
