Sending Results to an e‑Patient

This section provides instructions for sending lab results from Care360 Labs & Meds, ePrescribing, or EHR to MyQuest via an e‑Patient link. For instructions on setting up and managing an e-Patient account, see e‑Patient Accounts.

Using Care360 Labs & Meds, ePrescribing, or EHR, you can select and send lab results in the New Lab Results list to a participating patient’s MyQuest account, from the patient summary, or from the patient links page. To utilize this feature, your user account must have permission to view lab results, and the patient must authorize you to send them the results.

There are several ways that you can send results once the patient’s PIN is “established” (or connected with Care360 Labs & Meds, ePrescribing, or EHR:

Review and send individual results. While reviewing patient results, you can select specific results (final or corrected), or a type of result (such as normal and/or out of range)to send to the e-Patient. For more information on sending results to an e-Patient, see Send Results to an e-Patient .

Review and send results in the results pending release list. While reviewing results in the results pending release list, you can select one or more results to send to the e-Patient. For more information see,Send Results Pending Release to an e-Patient.

Notes:

You can view the status of participating patients using the E-Patient menu item that is available in the Reports menu. For more information on reviewing this report, see Reviewing the e-Patient Status Report

When sending an Interactive Insights lab report to a patient, the patient-focused view of the report is sent and will include comments to the patient (if available). For more information on the Interactive Insights report view, click here to watch a short training video.
